By installing a friction saver, the climber can create a ‘false crotch’ and run the climbing line through the rings on the friction saver instead of over a natural crotch in the tree.

These ring and ring friction savers can be set and retrieved from the ground using a throw line and throw ball. Thick layers of webbing provide great durability and an impressive 5,000 lb.
